Well TGM has been making lots of progress in every area, from physical to vocal to mental.
Just as examples:
While she spent an evening walking among her aunts the day before her birthday, she did almost no walking after that. Just the occasional step or two. Yesterday she decided she would give it another try. Lots of walking all over the place, even trying to go to places where there wasn't anyone waiting to catch her when she finally loses her balance.
Her newest sound is something like "dooka-dooka-dooka" with a few variations in the vowel sounds. She definitely has her mama and dada sounds down, though I would assume we parents are about the only ones who can consistently identify them. There is also a "moe" sound that is her "more" word.
She has three signs down well beyond the waving-hello-goodbye level. "More", "finished", and "please". Her more sign is used pretty regularly and is done with one hand's bunch of fingers tapping her palm. "Please" is pretty good, but is equal parts patting and rubbing. "Finished" is holding her hands out to the side and flicking her open hands about. We know what she means by them!
