Midwife Report @ 37 Weeks

Tuesday afternoon, I visited the midwife.

Another healthy report from the midwife.

I might've gained half of a pound or so in the past week. I'm still around 145.

We must've caught Beta in a sleep cycle, as his heartrate was low--in the 120's. But my fundal height continues to measure on-track at 37cm this week.

The GBS test was negative, so I don't have to receive antibiotics while in labor this time.

I returned the completed Birth Wish List form. So that will get added to my file with the Birthing Inn. I think we selected pretty much the same options as with TGM's birth--probably unmedicated, Jesse wants to cut the cord after delayed clamping, bonding and breastfeeding are more important than non-urgent newborn care (Vitamin K, etc).

I declined the cervix check that was offered. Couldn't come up with one good reason to need it or want it. Sorry, curiosity doesn't make the cut in my book and I wasn't that curious.

Impressively, less than 3 hours after I was at the hematologist's office, his report was attached to my file in the midwife's office.
