I'm at the end of the first trimester. Everyone keeps telling me that the second trimester is the easiest and to enjoy it--past the nausea and fatigue of the first trimester and not into the discomforts of late pregnancy. I'm sure I'll appreciate it more with any possible future pregnancies.
Having heard the heartbeat is a great, since there isn't much other way to know that there really is a baby in there at this point. :) I'm looking forward to feeling movement. (I've wondered a couple times if I've felt something, but I think it is still on the early side and I'm probably just imagining things.)
The baby websites tell me that Beta has developed all the major body systems and is looking mostly human. I'm looking forward to the day that I can see that for myself!
We've had a few light discussions on baby names, but very little in the way of top picks yet.
I'm still not really showing. I keep thinking we should probably get some more pictures taken if we are going to have anything to compare when I do start showing.
