It was very, very cool to see the baby up on the screen moving around, even if it was in blobs of grey. With the video, my eyes can track shapes coming in and going out of the picture and it is very, very neat to see your baby there!
However, once the pictures are taken and printed out for me ... well, it's not nearly as comprehensible and it loses a lot of the charm, at least for me. But women - well women seem to love those grey, blobby pictures! And the most amazing part to me - some of them seem to be able to see things in the still pictures that I was only able to see in the video with the nurse pointing it out! One of our neighbors was able to point out all sorts of stuff in the pictures at her first glance. I had seen the videos from which the pictures came, and I still couldn't see some of that stuff in the still pic!
Maybe it helps that she is very much and artistic person.
I'll be kind and trim out the most obscure ones. One nice thing the nurse did was type in descriptions on a lot of them. VERY helpful to me!
