On Wednesday evening this week, I had a number of Braxton-Hicks contractions through the evening. Probably at least one an hour from about 4:00 until I went to bed after 10:00. I'd only had a handful prior to that for the entire pregnancy. About the time I was getting ready to bed, I started to wonder if I was maybe dehydrated and that was causing the contractions. Have been trying to make a point of drinking more water since then and I think I've only had one Braxton-Hicks contraction since then.
Beta doesn't kick like TGM did, but I think is more active overall. When I recline in bed in the evening, especially, he'll decide to stick out a knee or something and just make a little mound on my belly, usually just off to the right of my belly button. Guess he's still working on his yoga.
I'm definitely feeling pregnant physically. At the end of the day, I definitely feel like I'm lugging around extra weight. Turning from one side to the other in bed is an effort. And I have groin muscles that will start aching if I don't watch how much I lift or how I move. Fortunately, clogging actually seems to help the groin achiness to a certain extent--I'd woken up feeling the ache yesterday morning and had put up with it through the day, but went ahead and went to clogging Thursday night. Practiced, but didn't push it hard. Didn't notice the achiness during practice or since. Not exactly logical to me, but am very pleased that I'm able to keep up clogging!
