The first of November brought the first of my every-other-week appointments.
I weighed in at 140lbs--up 4 lbs from my previous appointment 3 weeks earlier. When we got to the fundal height measurement, she said I was 31-32 cm, so catching up (or maybe just a different person measuring).
When she listened to the heart, Beta got active and was moving around and kicking. I forgot to ask what the heart rate was, but still sounding healthy. The midwife determined that Beta felt to be head-down, which matches what I was feeling and would've guessed.
I hadn't received a call after my glucose tolerance test at my last appointment, so at this appointment, she confirmed that I had passed the test with very good numbers. My hemoglobin level is 12.1, so doing ok with my iron levels. My platelets had fallen about 10,000 since my first trimester--down to 125,000. They repeated the test again at this appointment. If it is still down, they may refer me to a hematologist to rule out other possible underlying problems and try to confirm it is just a pregnancy issue.
