As I got into bed last night, I could feel Beta moving against my arm.
This morning I could feel a pretty large lump periodically form in C's belly as Beta rolled around. I'm not sure if it was his, wait, today's an odd day. I'm not sure if it was HER head or foot, but it was a very solid push.
I listened to C's belly this morning too and I deserve brownie points for not blowing a raspberry. I think I could make out Beta's heartbeat.
Beta is around 13 inches long now, has hair, can see, can hear, and her heartbeat is strong enough that I can hear it without aids. Ain't it cool!

ReplyDeleteSorry to disappoint, we don't know whether it's a boy or a girl. On odd-numbered days (e.g. 21) we try to refer to Beta as a girl. On even-numbered days, we try to refer to Beta as a boy. If people ask about names, we can pull a random name from the appropriate list of 50+ we have for each gender.
